unix symbolic links should not be treated as folders as their size is near '0'.

    They should be treated like files but without taking in account the size of pointed file

    I will invistigate this, but I supect it will be difficult to spot a symbolic link fro the win32 sdk. Any idea?

    It would be very easy by using portable libraries like Qt or Java.
    They were to designed to run on different OS like Windows Linux, Unix so they should be able to manage that.
    Using windows API is a very strong limitation, especially if you consider that your tool target system or network administrator, they often work with several OS
