From Willow to an Oak

The first tests of the Willow Build of TreeGnome revealed some much needed changes to the code. Hence the reason the new Oak Build is being worked upon.
Our team has taken what we have learned from the Willow Build and made significant corrections in the Oak Build.
Among some of the more notable changes includes a more modular architecture which allows for easier and greater enhancement of the CMS.
A Build 1 of TreeGnome 1.1.0 is expected to be released sometime tonight. While this is not a yet a fully functioning CMS, it is hoped it will give those which have been following the TreeGnome development a chance to take a sneak peak at the code.

Willow under development

It is official, the first developmental release of TreeGnome is being developed right now for release within the next few days. It has been codenamed, "Willow".
While it will be lacking in many of the features which will ultimately make up this CMS, it is hoped to be a positive step in the right direction to bringing this software to families all around the world.
