Make the "File->Start Logging..." menu be a cascase "file->Logging->" menu that provides options for:
* Begin logging incoming text.
* Save selected text to file.
* Save all of scrollback to file.
* Save to file all text in scrollback that matches a given pattern.
Also useful would be a bugfix to correct the problem arising when 'stop logging' is used on a world with a space in its name; apparently the routine loses all but the first word of the name when trying to reference it, and thus fails the reference, and can't stop logging.
I also second the 'save all scrollback to file' option!

Oop. Didn't exactly give thorough information there. So here is supplement:
This is an ancient Win95 platform; 1.0 a85 is Trebuchet version; 8.3 is Tcl version. As for reproducability, seems to work with most any 'X y' world name; even more fun is 'X [y]' (as for multiple characters on the same MUCK) where apparently 'y' is interpreted as a command.

The "Stop logging" bug has been fixed in CVS. The feature
request remains open, though.
