My computer connects via a LAN modem to the outside world,
and thanks to my beloved ISP, my connection resets and has to
dial back in every 8 hours. When this happens, obviously, I lose
connection to every world that I have open. When this happens,
Trebuchet has a bit of a seizure, locking up so that I cannot ask
to reconnect, I cannot see worlds disconnecting and then
reconnecting ... it just locks up. I can't even quit gracefully, but
have to use the Force Quit to bail out and then restart Trebuchet.
I would obviously like to see this handled a bit more elegantly.
Specifically, I'd like it if Trebuchet would, or could be configured
to, automatically reconnect to a world if I haven't QUIT the world,
without my having to tell it to do so, once it determines it is not
connected the next time it tries to send one of its keepalives. If, in
the interim, that proves too far a leap, I would at least like it not to
freeze up, but just to disconnect those worlds without notice
windows or popups, just change the status lights on the buttons
in the world bar, as that would at least mean it would not ask me if
I am sure I want to disconnect and reconnect to a given world
when I select that world's reconnect option from the world bar.

Sadly, the lockups are due to a bug in the TCL interpreter. I'll see what I
can do about it, but for the most part, TCL interp bugs are a difficult thing
to fix.
