If I change the ping interval and close the window, it
follows the new ping interval setting.

However, if I close the program and run it again, it
uses the default setting of 10 seconds.

I also tried to press stop and restart timer after I
changed the interval, but it had the same behaviour.

Hmm... This i didn't know about. As i said in the other bug,
i'm looking into these now.
