What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Download Mac install package
2. Double click installer
3. Click next until error message appears
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the application to install.
Instead I get an error message about installation failed when it tries to write the files.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac OSX 10.6.8, Transmission Remote GUI 3.2
Please provide any additional information below.
Application installers usually ask for elevated permissions to write to the system Applications directory, but this one didn't. When I logged in as the admin user and ran the installer, it installed successfully.

It is hard to create mac installer that asks admin password when running as a regular user, but do not ask if running as an admin.
Patches are welcome.
