Design finished for TRACS system, implementation started

December 31th 2004 the deadline for input on the design has ended, and I've now started working on the implementation of the Trivial Rolebased Authorisation and Capability Statemachine.
At this moment I am the only developer, and there are loads of work to be done, so extra developers are verry welcome, so are people who could be able to provide feedback on my progres, or would be willing to do some future alpha testing, please let me know if you are interested in contributing with development, testing and/or insights to this project. ... read more

Specifications Rolebased Authorisation & Capability system

The specifications of the functions and API for the Trivial Rolebased Authorization & Capability Statemachine are ready for review. This authorisation system is a system that is build up around statemachines representing different types of external entities, that next to state have different contexts in what they can be viewed. The contexts form trinities of bi-directional capabilities that form the basis of the authorisation scheme. The author believes that these concepts, when finished will have a tremendous impact on the way the infosec comunity thinks about authorization. This is a call for feedback, implementation will start shortly, and we find it essential to allow potential users a short period for feedback on design, concepts and API definitions.
