I was so excited when I got my new AMD 64 x2 and I was
installing my favorite software when WHAMM!!! "Tortoise
Doesn't support he X64 shell"...

Oh god say it isn't so... PLEASE tell me that there
will be support for 64 VERY SOON!?!?!!?

    Thank you for responding to my post.
    Run the 32bit explorer under x64? That's like asking Window
    X32 users to run a DOS program. It will support it but now
    your gimped. Why would the installation be any different for
    a 64bit vs a 32bit? If you like, please forward the binaries
    and the instructions and I will install them manually and
    test it for you..

    You ask "Why would the installation be any different for
    a 64bit vs a 32bit?" - because the 64-bit Explorer needs a
    bunch of registry keys in the 64-bit section of the registry.
