I would like to see a module showing the IP address of some
interface (or pseudo-inteface, like eth0:1). In addition, Mac
Address (hardware address) would be nice too.
This way, I could display IP address of my ppp0 and eth0
interfaces, and hw address of my eth0. This will save me one
dockapp on my screen. :)

Maybe the patch should be based on "wmifinfo" dockapp code: http://

I know I can parse the "ifconfig" output. But we all know (it is
documented in torsmo) that a native feature of torsmo is much better
than running a external script:
# exec shell command
Executes a shell command and displays
the output in torsmo. warning: this
takes a lot more resources than other
variables. I'd recommend coding wanted
behaviour in C and posting a patch :-).
