I would add to all said already that if you by some reason still have a genuine need to reverse engineer it then there is a much easier way of doing it than with Ethereal. If I were you I would reverse engineer Oracle's JDBC type 4 drivers (Java) - being pure Java they are easier to decompile into readable form with tools like Jad or again if it's not allowed by laws of your country they are still much easier to plug protocol analyzer into than OCI binaries.
