[Tora-develop] current status of tora?

I am going to be rebuilding my desktop shortly, and as a result, I know I'm going to have to rebuild tora, which I've 
been avoiding doing since the last several times I've tried - it's basically made things almost non-functional.

The two pieces I use all the time are connecting to oracle and mysql databases, and using the schema browser to edit 
tables in spreadsheet style UI.

How functional is the current code state?
