I'm in Linux, and I'd like to know the same thing. In particular, I'd like to know where the connection history is stored. When it changes, I'm not seeing any files updated in my home directory. It's mysterious.

Where are the preferences/toolbar settings/connection settings stored?
In Win-Registry? In an *.ini file?
Do I have to explicitely activate auto-save preferences at exit?

Windows: registry
Linux: ~/.config/TOra/
Mac OS X: i think it's in ~/Library . I have to examine it later.
Oh, FFS, Why on earth would it save to registry!!! Why not same path as for linux! Worst idea ever.
Simply because it is default behaviour of QSettings class.
