The new Table of Contents (ToC) is being written for The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to Tomcat 2003. This will focus on deploying, administering and developing with Tomcat 4.x but will include information from the book about Tomcat 3.x. Goto http://tomcatbook.sourceforge.net/ for further details.

The Tomcat-Book project is constantly looking for talented and dedicated individuals to help out in authoring, checking and publishing documentation.

There are several "teams" which have certain functions. More information can be found in the "Team Structure" document under the "Docs" section.

If you have an interest in Apache's Jakarta-Tomcat, or if you just want to help out in the creation of first class documentation for the Tomcat community, then please e-mail Adam Fowler for more information at aff9@aber.ac.uk.

Several chapters of the "Hitch-Hiker's guide to Tomcat" have been released. These can be viewed online or downloaded from http://tomcatbook.sourceforge.net .

This is only a small part of the final book, and there may be some errors.

The title "A Hitchhiker's Guide to Tomcat" has been chosen as the offical title for the book this projects hopes to produce.

After identifying a need for an open book on tomcat this project was started.
