Hi... I'm trying to use Togl to make some OpenGL code that was implemented for Windows more portable. I'm using Solaris 8 on an Ultra-1 with a 256 colour framebuffer :(. I got Togl from anonymous CVS in the last few days. Tcl/Tk 8.2 is installed here currently. The Togl demos work, but the colours in the OpenGL rendering are not correct: for example, the tree in texture.tcl for example ends up mainly grey, with a few dark green pixels. (Another example from my code: black -> black, red -> black, green -> light grey, blue -> black, grey -> light blue). I'm assuming that when I move the mouse into a Togl window, all the colours on my display should change, making the Togl window colours correct, but colours outside of it incorrect (colour map "flashing"), like I see in other apps. (togl.c:1903 seems to be implementing this). However, this colour map switching doesn't occur for me, and so the colours are wrong (I assume that some part of the system is assigning colours that are "close" to the desired ones, but they aren't close enough to look good). Can anyone give me any clues as to how to debug this? Helppp!
