#39 Refresh wipes out typed text

While typing out a new todo item, I got hit by an
automated refresh, which threw away everything I had
typed. Is it possible to:
1) turn off refresh. Seems it's only needed when
multiple people are editing the list.
or better
2) separate the list and any possible typing into
separate frames, and let the refresh only apply to the
list (not sure if this would even work)
