Hello, A few remarks: 1). I would start with a much smaller model at first. Then use mesh refinement if possible. 40000 element model is large for tochnog. 2). Use the SUPERLU solver (serial version at first). Much faster for larger problems. You will need to install that, and recompile tochnog. 3). control_timestep 520 1. 2. control_timestep_iterations_automatic 520 0.1 10 The last item in control_timestep_iterations_automatic is maximum timestep. Since you are starting with time step size of 1 (from 0) and going to 2, 10 fox max step size doesn't make sense. Maybe set to 1? 4). if this is large deformation problem there will be a few iterations. It is better if you start with "linear" run with one timestep just to debug the model.
