#6 invalid-byte-code symbol :initial-value

i get this in xemacs21.4.1 every time i receive a message (sending works fine)

(2) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (invalid-byte-code variable refere\
nce to constant symbol :initial-value)

it's been working fine for several months, but a recent debian (woody) upgrade broke it.

i'm new to lisp, but will try to dig around on it this weekend.

Try this, delete the .elc files in the tnt directory.
Xemacs is using the old stuff from the previous version.
