Andr,
If you were using the ansi version before the unicode
version try to uninstall and reinstall tmr.. I'm not sure
beacause I'm not able to recreate the bug, but this may be
caused by some invalid registry keys.
Thank you for spending your time improving tmr :-)
Luca.

Luca,
This was an original install using
tmr unicode auto-updates : install_TMR_unicode.exe (2003-
10-29 18:00).
In any case I uninstalled TMR and installed:
tmr unicode : install_TMR_unicode13.exe (2003-11-26 18:00)
Regretfully, I must report the same problem.
What is puzzling is that if I create a "Show a message" task
then, when the task is triggered, the Message Box appears
and default.wav is played.
"C:\Program Files\TMR\TMR.exe" -m Message Reminder
But if I create a "Show a message" task and choose "Play a
custom sound with this message" and select default.wav then
I get the reported problem: the wav file is played but the
message box does not appear!!
"C:\Program Files\TMR\TMR.exe" -m Message
Reminder "C:\Program Files\TMR\default.wav"

As a consequence, once the task is triggered, an instance of
tmr.exe is loaded and waits endlessly for the mesage box to
be closed.
