TLPD is designed to tackle the 'path name too long' issue. It scans the directory tree, searching for files and folders with full path name that may be too long for Windows to handle. TLPD is portable, has silent mode. ReadMe and source are available.

Simple, works as intended. Tested on Win 10 x64 on network drives.

Searches for files with too long a name, including a path. That's good, but it's only looking.

This program couldn't find all long pathes. I used instead cmd /c dir /A /s /b |? {$_.length -gt 255} and got 6 hits more
