Setting the fg or bg of a menubutton under aqua tcl/tk
(8.4.7 or earlier, MacOS X 10.3.4 or earlier) does nothing
useful. Setting bg sets the color of a border region around
the menubutton. Setting fg does nothing. Setting other
colors (active..., etc.) also does nothing.
I realize this is probably an issue with limitations in the
native toolkit, but what with all the other problems with
aqua menubuttons (see my recent spate of bug reports and
reports from others), I was hoping you might consider
making your own menubutton instead of relying on the
native widget.
(aqua buttons have some of the same limitations and would
also benefit from being homegrown instead of native).
