Or, we could make the default "-displaycolumns #all".
Interpreting '-displaycolumns {}' the same as '#none' would
be a minor incompatibility, but I think it's worth doing.
The current interpretation of '-displaycolumns {}' is
mainly so that the widget does something sensible if
the user _doesn't_ explicitly set '-displaycolumns'.
