[Tile-dev] combobox -width option

I have comboboxes packed in resizable windows (a spreadsheet cell) and would like to make use of the -width option of the listbox widget to force the listbox to be a certain size regardless of the current width of the combobox as defined by the cell.
Is there a way to do that besides altering combobox.tcl? Thanks
