Bryan, The ActiveTcl installer is now using tile, and there are some issues with tile adapting to Xdefaults, which can be either home-built or set via wms like KDE. This is sort of intentional - tile themes are supposed to set their own style. However, I have been talking with Joe about adapting to just this situation, as it is likely to be a common one for unix users. It uses a nice light grey > background and assumes the default foreground will be a dark > color. On my workstation, I have dark backgrounds with white > text. As a result, the installer is light grey with white > text, and worse, entry widgets are white with white text.
