<NEW USER WARNING>

when I start tkdiff from the command line (Linux
version 2.4.21-32.0.1.ELsmp
(bhcompile@bugs.build.redhat.com)) and then close the
resulting GUI window with the corner X, the command
line is not returned to me (process is still running).
starting tkdiff again causes another process to start
(reported by ps as wish tkdiff).

What's up with that?

    Not sure what to suggest. Sounds like maybe your window
    manager isn't doing what you expect it to? Sounds more like
    an OS/wm-specific thing (or even a Tk-specific thing) than a
    tkdiff thing. Tkdiff has no reason to hang on once you tell
    it to go away. :-)
