was looking at /help special variables and saw background=on. I was
wondering, if background was set to off, and then when some output was
recieved by a background world, one sent it an echo of "---" would this
cause the "---" to show in the world before new text? as new text would
only be processed after it is brought into the foreground. or would the
echo not be processed either?
