Go figure. It was fixed. Foolishly I decided to send out an e-mail while the compile on the venerable Sun was going, figuring I'd have a few days to burn. Anywho, this does fix the real issue, but I get a little "More 61" (or whatever) screen artifact left on my screen after a resize now and then (that is, not every single time) but that's hardly a worry.
