Hi Rafael, > Hi Hudson, >=20 > We are trying to use TinyCobol under Windows Environment. >=20 > =BFHow we can print to Windows Printers?. We are trying with standard > devices (LPT1:), but does not work. TinyCOBOL still doesn't print directly to the printer devices. To print a report generated by TC, you should generate the report to disk a= nd after use a system call to print the report. I attached a file called print01.cob explaining how to do it. =20 > Exist any way to use windows printers with diferents fonts type and > sizes? For windows printers, you should know how to use windows API's if you want = to do your own solution. If you don't know windows API's, I recomend you to use a report tool called= RPV reports, that you can found in http://www.rpvreport.com. This tool can be used with any language and could be used with TC. To call RPV from TC, you should use call conventions. I attached a program called print02.cob explaining how to do it. You will realize that TC doesn't need of special-names declaration to use s= ome windows api's call conventions. =20 > Dou you have any sample programs to send us? This sample that I send for you I didn't test but I'm sure that it will wor= k. To compile both, use htcobol <program-name> I already send for you some Netexpress 3.1 samples about RPV. By the way, does exist some COBOL samples in the RPV web site. Hope this helps, Hudson ------------------------------------------------------------------ Hudson Reis http://www.hreis.net |
