TinyCobol users, There was one point I forgot to mention in my previous e-mail concerning documentation formats. In my case I work as a mainframe operator. There is a lot of spare time in the computer room where I'm just sitting watching the console. During that time I can make an SSH connection to my box at home and work on personal projects. In that senario I only have access to console based programs. Anything with an GUI interface would be unaccessable to me from work and greatly reduce the amount of time I'm available to work on the project. It would be a plus for me if we choose a format that can be edited with a good old console based text editor such as vim. If we choose a format that also has GUI WYSIWYG tools for those that are not comfortable with some form of mark-up language that would be a benifit to all of us. Kevin |
