In the R Explorer, when you try to "Edit" or "Fix" a variable, an R-editor window comes up, instead of the spreadsheet that is supposed to appear.

  Hi,
  
  The tool used (any editor or a native spreadsheet) depends of the class of the object.
  The spreadsheet is the default for frames and matrix objects.
