the mass data can be found from the .SHP files somewhere
after the crew data and so on. Look for values for different
ships in the range of 1 to 10. It's there.
evidence: I found the value and set it to about 100 for a ship
of mine.
effects: the ship did planet collision (!) damage to enemies and
the AI didn't fire on it (probably thinking it was a planet).
I did a complete table on .SHP values but I am sorry that I
have lost it.
Maybe I'm repeating something everyone already knows. If so,
