I have limited which users can run reports but that has
made me the bad guy here at work. The reason is that
employees want to be able to check their own hours to
see if they need to shorten their lunch or legthen
their time at work to make their 40 hours for the week.
Now that I have limited who can run reports, (so that
everyone cannot see everyone elses hours worked) I have
taken the average employee's ability to check his/her
own hours. So I am bringing my dilema to you. In hopes
that you can help.
In thinking about this could there be a button added to
the topbar (perhaps next to reports) labeled "My Time"
that could force the user to login and then take them
to a report specifically for the logged in user?

sure, that's a good idea. will look at sneaking something
like that in for a future release. probably not this next
release, but i don't see why it couldn't be included in the
one after that.

Can you tell me how you were able to apply these limits. It
sounds as if this is just what I want to do, but I am unable
to figure out HOW!
Thanks.

I'd love to know. My CallCenter employees don't need to see
other peoples business. Anything I can do to help get such
a feature?
