#18 Self-Creation of User Account

I would like to see a feature where a new user could
create an account and password for themselves. The
administrator(s) would then have the option to approve
or deny the request. This would, of course, require a
new user to provide a name, password, and email address
for notification purposes.

My office really enjoys using this program. We have
several new hires every semester. The addition of this
function could free up a bit of time, for the
administrator, and provide the user a greater degree of
control over her/his password.

hmm, a little thought will be needed to determine how to
best implement this request. this might be something to add
maybe within the next 2 or 3 releases; won't have time to
squeeze it in for this next release.

pretty much have your earlier ip restriction request taken
care of, just need to test it a little bit more. if all goes
well, it'll be included in the next release which is planned
to be out around the first week of may.
