If the terminal bell is disabled, tilda flickers badly at the times when the bell would be going off. It's possible this is meant to be a visual cue for a terminal bell, but it is even more annoying than that beeping sound ;)
I am able to cause a quick flicker in the current tilda CVS with audible bell turned off. If I turn audible bell on, I see nothing, and get no bell. (I don't think my system even has a bell. If it does, I've never heard it).
Can you tell me how this is in the current Tilda CVS, or in 0.9.5 when it is released? I may be persuaded to add an option to disable the terminal bell entirely if it is still unbearable.
