Try this as a replacement for wikiplugin_avatar.php in your plugins directory. <?php // Displays the user Avatar // Use: // {AVATAR()}username{AVATAR} // {AVATAR(page=>some)}username{AVATAR} // If no avatar nothing is displayed function wikiplugin_avatar($data,$params) { global $tikilib; global $userlib; extract($params); $avatar=$tikilib->get_user_avatar($data); if(isset($page)) { $avatar = "<a href='tiki-index.php?page=$page'>".$avatar.'</a>'; } else { if($userlib->user_exists($data)&&$tikilib->get_user_preference($data,'us er_information','public')=='public') { $avatar = "<a href='tiki-user_information.php?view_user=$data'>".$avatar.'</a>'; } } return $avatar; } ?> -----Original Message----- From: tik...@li... Cc: luis Subject: [Tikiwiki-devel] Avatar Plugin I'd like to ask for a new Avatar plugin or perhaps a change to the existing one. I like the Avatar plugin but would like for it to be extended or a new plugin called something like AvatarLink to be available. I propose that the plugin have two inputs UserId and PageName. The first is the user's Id the second is optional, if the second is not input the Avatar for the Icon is linked to the Userpage or to the send message dialog if message sending is enabled for that user. If a PageName is provided then the link for the Icon is to that page, If it doesn't exist already then it is created with that name. What the new/Updated plugin would do is to make the Avatar a much more versitile personal linking tool. What do ya think?
