Fernando, Yes, we'll be really happy to have a Portuguese language file for 1.6 You should translate the 1.5 version and send it to me, then I'll run a script to update your language file and send you an 1.6 language file (same as 1.5 with some additional strings). Then you translated the remaining strings and send me the final 1.6 language file.=20 It will be included in the 1.6 release. You have about 3 weeks to get the translation done before the 1.6 deadline. Please use lu...@fu... to send the language files. -----Original Message----- From: tik...@li... I've downloaded and installed v1.5 on a Debian 3.0 (woody) . It went=20 very well. Since I couldn't find a european portuguese translation, I copied the=20 "en" folder, created a "pt" folder and started to translate some=20 strings. It *almost* worked. Some strings seem to escape translation. It seems to me that some aditional files must be tweaked. Right? If I continue to work on the european portuguese translation, would you=20 be interested in including it in the distribution? Or is anyone else=20 working on it? If so, when a new release is in preparation, how do I know what new=20 strings should be added to the translation file? Should I patch the other files that escape translation? Or do you prefer that I contact the developper instead? Fernando --=20 Fernando Fernandez MoreData - Sistemas de Informa=E7=E3o, Lda. http://www.moredata.pt |
