Hello, yes, I am mainly concerned that we do not have energy/interest/brainpower/manpower to maintain another branch and release. What we have to maintain now: 1. trunk (aka next stable - Tiki 9) 2. Tiki 8 (aka stable) 3. Tiki 6 (LTS) 4. some others like proposals What do we gain in manpower for QT as proposed if we remove proposals branch but add Tiki 6 xLTS ? We will need to keep LTS and xLTS and stable and trunk security fixes in sync. We will need to make sure xLTS release contains only security fixes and create incremental packages. We will need new release managers and packagers for it. What will happen if someone is on LTS already but will not become aware security fixes go in separate xLTS now ? Must we release LTS with the security fixes at the same time or he/she will be forced to switch to xLTS ? We will need to promote separately. We will need to explain difference between LTS and xLTS again and again to users, which is which and where and what for. ... some others ?
