Hi Lindon & all If you use the $.fn.tiki function to create it (in tiki-jquery.js - use $("div.mycarousel").tiki("carousel") to initialise it) then you can add the visibility thing in there - in fact i have a feeling it might already do it. The other way to do it is with CSS and fix the size of the carousel div and set the overflow to hidden.
