Hello, if I want to pass a link to somebody and I want make sure, that he/she reaches the website in a certain language, how I have to write the link? Example: German users on an Intranet (made with Tiki) should be provided with further information and documentation for that I need not to do double documentation. I want to provide some links to tiki.org sites, mainly info.t.o and doc.t.o As there is a fraction of users without any english knowledge AND not being too well-ädisposed to the internet I do not want to make it necessary to look for a language switch (especially as on info.t.o you might see "Human Translations" in the switch box) Like how the setting on info.tiki.org are right now, http://info.tiki.org/Tiki+Wiki+CMS+Groupware+-de would work => in info.t.o setting is "switch page language switches site language" and all Wikipages linked in the menus are translated. But 1.) on doc.tiki.org the settings are slightly different and only a fraction of pages is translated yet 2.) nobody knows it settings will stay for ever. => So I am looking for a more general link like http://info.tiki.org/tiki-switch_language.php&lang=de (what is not existing/working in this respect). Does anybody know s.th. suitable. Maybe my idea is just unlogical, but maybe I just don't see it. Cheers Torsten |
