MySQL backend: `ping()` does not have a defined return value, so it's not good to test it... This apparently caused frequent connection drops on some systems.

Thanks to Aaron Maxwell for the patch. Closes #5783.

E-mail obfuscation in reports:
* 'Owner' field.
* All 'group by' headers in case it is grouped by owner containing e-mail usernames.
