In addition to what we do in `subnode()`, we also gather the files corresponding to an isolated node, to be able to specify the `str_entries` parameter for the other call to `find_dirctx()`.

This is a second take at #7746, where we reintegrate original linkrev() approach as a parallel strategy. This heuristic can save the need to go back very deep in the changelog, especially in presence of old and not much populated sub-directories.

A Javascript-only solution which displays a ''Threaded Comments'' checkbox for toggling back and forth between threaded mode (changes nested according to the ''reply-to'' information) and linear mode (changes ordered by there modification time).
