[Thoggen-devel] Feature request - 6 channel vorbis

Sorry fella's I know this may be a bit annoying. I'm still a bit of a newb, 
so please bare with me for a moment.

I know that Vorbis supports 6 channel aoutput, but I havent see anyone 
implement support for it yet. dvd::rip, acidrip, ogmrip, handbrake... Noone. 
Since I like thoggen the best becouse it is the simplest to use, and it is 
really the only one that actually gets the audio and video in sync, I'd like 
to make a feature request that 6 channel vorbis support be added to thoggen.

I just think that ac3 passthru is wasteful. (i know, thoggen doesnt support 
ac3 passthru either yet.) Movies arent like music. Music has a lot more data 
involved in it then Movies audio has, so It is possible to compress Movie 
audio more without noticing a differance, However 6 channels vs two, usually 
makes movie data larger, and ac3 passthru is in my opinion wasteful becouse 
it doesnt allow me to set compression or quality or nothing...

I really would like to have 6 channels when watching a movie. Surround sound 
really is better. I'd like to be able to keep the 6 channel audio, while 
also be able to compress it as well.
