[Thoggen-devel] latest thoggen hangs on "Open Folder with Video DVD Files"

on clicking on the Open Folder with Video DVD Files" menu, thoggen
hangs.  No file browse dialog,  just hangs and stops redrawing any of
it's windows.  Not using any CPU.

A gdb trace suggests something to do with FAM.  Trace attached.

This is on the latest Ubuntu Breezy updates., and occurs in Thoggen 0.4
and today's cvs checkout.
