Rip freezes at start of rip. Started after upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat. Blue screen. Screenshot and log attached. Strange filenames "foo.ogv" and durations. Not specific to any iso. Problem occurs regardless of iso. Haven't tried DVD.

Updating to highest priority since this is an app-killer.
In my case as well the problem started since I upgraded to Ubuntu 10.10.
The attached log does not capture the actual error. Following is the error message seen on console.
(thoggen:2202): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_value_set_fraction_range: assertion `((gdouble) start->data[0].v_int) / ((gdouble) start->data[1].v_int) < ((gdouble) end->data[0].v_int) / ((gdouble) end->data[1].v_int)' failed
Please note that the same error is seen with Arista as well. So this might be a gstreamer problem.
