Thanks for your answer. I already did it, but it does not solve the issue. Same error was thrown at build time. After several tests, I can confirm that to build XFWM4, it is required to disable the ?# package xfwm4-extra?, or it will point to the exception during the build process. Maybe there is some inner dependency at ?xfwm4-extra? that adds this ?thunar-thumbnailers?? . Thanks Don for this excellent distribution. I found on it the perfect tool for inner security. I have not used xfwm4-extra for years. It doesn’t have anything useful in it, but you could edit build/install for the package and remove thumbnailer. You only need package xfwm4 and package thunar. I don't know if this might help but in ts/build/packages/thunar/build/install I see export PORTS="thunar tumbler thunar-volman gnome-disk-utility" Maybe tumbler is the problem here? If I were you I would try to take that out from the PORTS definition and retry rebuild. I'd have to dig that up. Keeping your configs/hostfile on local storage present with certain maintainability issues. You should seriously consider netfiles, and storing your files on a tftp or web server. Also consider using DHCP to set hostnames. Making such reservations will help you track your terminals and control provisioning. Hi, I wanted to tell you that a new ThinLinc client version (4.13.0) is available. However, ThinLinc's specialized thinstation package is still 32-bit and thus it does not work on the newest version of thinstation. Instead you can download the 64-bit Linux tar.gz client package from this URL: https://www.cendio.com/downloads/clients/tl-4.13.0-2172-client-linux-dynamic-x86_64.tar.gz Best regards, -- Samuel Mannehed Software Development Cendio AB https://cendio.com Teknikringen 8 https://twitter.com/ThinLinc 583 30 Linköping https://facebook.com/ThinLinc Phone: +46 13 214 600 |

Hi, I have a problem to build thinstation image (using devstation). I would like to get (after booting) a list of rdp connection. After booting I receive a xdialog man page. What have I done wrong? |

I don't understand the HOME=etc/skel reference. I looked at the /etc/skel directory in the build image. I put the following lines in my finalize script: pwd ls -laR /etc/skel I got (some subdirectories omitted for brevity): / /etc/skel/.mozilla/firefox: total 12 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Mar 26 10:58 . drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Mar 26 10:58 .. -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 32 Mar 26 10:58 crashreporter.ini I don't see a /etc/skel/.mozilla/firefox/*esr/extensions to chmod. The etc/skel/ in the /thinstation/build/tmp-tree directory is the same. Is the temp-tree directory an exact duplicate of what is in the image? I boot my image and from the command line do ls -laR /etc/skel/.mozilla before I start firefox, I see (some subdirectories omitted for brevity) /etc/skel/.mozilla/firefox/830qg9ax.default-esr: total 208 drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 220 May 23 16:29 . drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 100 May 23 16:29 .. -rw------- 1 root root 28672 May 23 16:29 cert9.db -rw------- 1 root root 39 May 23 16:29 e.head.tpl -rw------- 1 root root 59168 May 23 16:29 e.tail.tpl drw------- 2 root root 100 May 23 16:29 extensions -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 66575 May 23 16:29 extensions.json -rw------- 1 root root 36864 May 23 16:29 key4.db -rw------- 1 root root 425 May 23 16:29 pkcs11.txt -rw------- 1 root root 1528 May 23 16:29 prefs.js -rw------- 1 root root 1458 May 23 16:29 prefs.tpl /etc/skel/.mozilla/firefox/830qg9ax.default-esr/extensions: ls: can't open '/etc/skel/.mozilla/firefox/830qg9ax.default-esr/extensions': Permission denied total 0 There is a /etc/skel/.mozilla/firefox/*esr/extensions to chmod but I don't know how it created. I looked around in /lib/firefox a bit but did not see what set these directories up before I started firefox. The nature of TS images, is that they are immutable. If you really need the nfs-utils in the image, you will have to rebuild it. An alternative is use nfs-utils inside the chroot, and they should already be there. On Sunday, May 23, 2021, 10:15:58 AM PDT, Izaac Brånn <iza...@ou...> wrote: Hello!
