[Thinstation-general] net_hostname in conf.user

Hello All,
So was trying to set the client's hostname in the thinstation.conf.user file.   NET_HOSTNAME=XXXXXX.
Can't seem to get it to work.  I know the files are being read as the client picks up other settings in the thinstation.conf.user file.

So is setting the hostname via thinstation.conf.user just not possible?
