[Thinstation-general] hdupdate, not getting version from http server

Hello Don/everyone,

Having an issue with HDUPDATE.  Any help greatly appreciated.
Seems it is not getting the server version number from my thinstation.conf.network file.
HDUPDATE_SERVER_VERSION=2
HDUPDATE_FILES="initrd"

The clients are reading the hosts file and other config files just fine.  And I can wget from a linux server and retrieve the conf.network file.
Build.conf contains
Param basename  thinstation
Param basepath thinclient
Param baseurl http://10.10.10.24

Thinstation.conf.buildtime contains

HDUPDATE_ENABLED=Y

Here is the boot log.  Kinda seems it is doing hdupdate before reading the config files.
