Hi Guys, I have installed thinstation on a Windows 2003 Terminal Server. I used Solarwind TFTP for TFTP Server I have some Compaq Deskpro PCs that are able to pxeboot and connect to the Terminal Server. However, I have some Neoware CA5 thin clients. They are unable to boot from their NICs so I have created a bootable gPXE usb stick as per http://www.jonshouse.co.uk/neoware_ca5gpxe.cgi The Neoware thin client now boots from USB but goes into a loop. I tried the Compaq Deskpro (just in case it's the server). Worked fine. Connects to the server. The Neoware goes through the motion, obtains an IP address and loads the boot image (thinstation.nbi.zpxe) from the server, then flashes through the screen and reboots. Managed to pause screen, went through some of the stuff on the screen, but nothing sticks out. Having said that, there are some entries that say Hunting for pixies..found pixie at 0009ce90..ok Then it comes with the line that begins API, then says Resetting pixie.., the API line again, then next line says Initializing UNDI driver. Please wait, then a couple of more lines, then it reboots in a flash. I am using thinstation and SolarWinds TFTP Server on the 2003 Terminal Server box. PS: I reconfigured the DHCP server on the W2003 Terminal server as per http://www.etherboot.org/wiki/pxechaining This did not help much. It stops the reboots, but an error message comes up saying that it cannot load the image / boot image not found Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated. Alex |
