I find your post very confusing and have a hard time to make sense of it. *When you write TS 2.2.2 do you mean it literately? Not 2.2.2b/c/d? *If so if don't understand your talk about unichrome as this isn't in plain 2.2.2. *If not so I don't understand your claim that unichrome supports CN896. There is no mention of a CN896 in the unichrome included in 2.2.2d *Then you write "but when activating xorg6-via only X does not start anymore (no card could be detected)" ??? But xorg6-via is NOT xorg6-unichrome but the legacy via driver that's guaranteed not to support any CN chip sets. *"Is the xorg-via driver up to date?" Up to date with Xorg 6.9 in TS 2.2.2<any> - yes. But that's old anyway... TS 2.2.2d and 2.3SVN have two completely different X versions and drivers. I think you are mixing things here. Also I suspect you confuse unichrome with openchrome? Sorry not be be more helpful than this, but too many unknown unknowns as they put it in the aircraft industry :-) Mike > > Best regards > Christof Egner > -- > _______________________________________________________________ > Configo Systems Gesellschaft für Systemlösungen mbH > Wittichstraße 7 - 64295 Darmstadt - DE > Telefon +49.6151.39656.0 Fax +49.6151.39656.49 > > Website: http://www.configo.de > E-Mail: in...@co... > > Geschäftsführer: Christof Egner > Sitz der Gesellschaft: Lautertal > Registergericht: Amtsgericht Bensheim > Registernummer: HRB 25435 > USt-IdNr.: DE220737509 > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > The Palm PDK Hot Apps Program offers developers who use the > Plug-In Development Kit to bring their C/C++ apps to Palm for a share > of $1 Million in cash or HP Products.
