The patch is in the restart_dhcp subroutine in the packages/base/etc/thinstation.functions script. udhcpc -n -i $DEVICE -H $1 -C -s /etc/init.d/network_script On Mon, 2009-02-16 at 09:29 +0100, Francis SOUYRI wrote: > Hello Sebastian, > > You can modify the calls of udhcp but I can not understand why you > have DDNS problem normaly the patch is done to correct a DHCP/DDNS problem. > > When the thinstation boot there is two calls to the DHCP server, one > call to retrieve the IP and a second to set de DHCP hostname (between > the two calls the thinstation retreive its config and its hostname). > > Without the patch the DHCP calls are done with a différent client id so > for the DHCP server this is two requests from different clients and it > give two IP, the thinstation used the second IP. > > I used the patch and I have no DDNS problem, in my config the DDNS > updates are done by the DHCP server. > > Best regards. > > Francis > > Sebastian John wrote: > > Hallo list, > > > > i'm using TS 2.2.1rc3 since a long time.
