Ah, sorry for the lack of info, I'm in tech support and spend all day berating people for doing the same thing, duh! I boot from CD, using a TS-o-matic (the latest stable version, 2.1.3?), the machine have 128MB in them. Though my other systems run thinstation fine with 64MB I have tried swapping memory about and increasing memory size with the same result. I've also swapped out the CD-ROM and altered the boot sequence (originally I tried removing the hard drive and just having the CD-ROM in the boot sequence but I thought that might be causing a problem) The towers don't have a model number on them, just "HP Brio' but I can get the serial number off the motherboard if that's of any use to some of the more hardware minded types. -----Original Message----- From: Trevor Batley [mailto:tre...@us...]=20 Sent: 22 December 2005 13:02 To: Paul Berry Cc: Thi...@li... Anyone got any ideas? What memory do they have in them and what is your ramdisk_size setting in your pxelinux.cfg/default or syslinux.cfg file? Also how big is your initrd? You also haven't told us which version you are using, how you built it (local via TS-O-matic or prebuilt), or how you have deployed it (cdrom, pxe boot, etherboot, syslinux.....).
